Registration is now open to attend the 2026 Cybernetic Culture Workshop taking place Friday 10 April 2026 at Lancaster University. Following the success of last year’s inaugural Cybernetic Culture Workshop, run by RISCS Associate Fellow Sophie James and colleague James Cronin, this year’s event aims to foster an intellectually generous, interdisciplinary space for exploring the cultural, affective, and ethical dimensions of digital life. A call for papers is now open – organisers invite 500-word abstracts on the theme of 'Digital Underworlds: Hidden, Obscured, and Transgressive Spaces on the Internet', to be submitted by Friday 23 January 2026. To find out more and submit your abstract, visit: https://www.cyberneticcultureworkshop.com/.
