RISCS Director – Prof Genevieve Liveley
Genevieve (Professor of Classics) heads an international team of postgraduate students – she currently leads the Futures programme as part of the ESRC Digital Security by Design Hub+ (Discribe), is co-investigator on ‘Futures Methods’ for the ESRC Centre for Sociodigital Futures (CenSoF) and is co-lead (with Awais Rashid) on the EPSRC project ‘Equitable Privacy’. She is the outgoing RISCS Anticipation and Futures Literacy Fellow, and a Turing Fellow researching AI narratives. Rooted in the Arts and Humanities, her research portfolio attests to fruitful interdisciplinary partnerships (both nationally and internationally) with researchers across the cyber security ecosystem, and her work also involves active collaborations with researchers in AI, Ethics, Law, Policy Studies, Robotics, and Sociology. She has also worked closely with a range of policy makers, third sector, and industry partners (including NCSC, dstl, DCDC, and Defra).
RISCS Manager – Dr Louise Evans
Louise (Research Manager, Bristol Cyber Security Group) has managed multiple research projects, funding portfolios and collaborative networks. She is a core member of the Bristol Cyber Security Group (BCSG), providing operational support to a team of over 50 researchers, heading a team of Professional Services colleagues and, in particular, managing all strategic work to develop new research proposals and build the portfolio of research funding.
