The flagship ‘Cybersecurity: A Matter of Law or a Matter of Justice?’ workshop will be held on in Durham on Wed 24 September 2025. Proudly co-hosted by RISCS alumni Rebecca Owens, PhD from Durham Law School and Partha Das Chowdhury from University of Bristol, and supported by RISCS, this workshop will bring together leading experts to discuss best practice in cybersecurity governance, and the evolving regulatory challenges and ethical considerations within the field. Ahead of the workshop on 24 Sep, an invitation‑only postgraduate (PGR) meet will be held on Tue 23 September at Durham Law School. Postgraduate students are invited to submit 300-word abstracts on topics including but not limited to cybersecurity policy, AI, digital rights, and cyber threats by Mon 4 August using this form. RISCS will cover the attendance of invited students at both the PGR meet and the main workshop.
